Wine Days of Summer

Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th, 2019

Experience “Wine Days of Summer,” an event from the wineries of the Southeast Michigan Pioneer Wine Trail.

At each stop along the trail, you’ll be served a wonderful wine paired with a dish prepared especially for this event by a local chef or restaurant. in addition to the featured pairing, you can enjoy five additional wine samples at each winery.

Guests provide their own transportation and choose their itinerary, visiting the six wineries in any order over the two days. There are many wonderful B&Bs, hotels and campgrounds along the trail so decide where you want to begin, make the arrangements for the weekend and have a great time!

We encourage Designated Drivers. They can eat the foods offered at each winery for only $10.00, but they cannot consume alcohol!

The official hours for this event are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday regardless of the wineries’ individual tasting room hours.

Be sure to take advantage of our early bird discount. Tickets purchased before midnight on July 22nd are $35 per person. Tickets purchased after July 22nd are $40 per person. Purchase your tickets at:

Please note that ticket sales end promptly at midnight on Wednesday, August 7th. This is for our needed preparation of the food for the event. Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are not available for purchase on the day of the event.

Please Note: There are no physical tickets mailed for this event. Once purchased, your name is added to a registration list that will be at each winery. Simply bring your ID and enjoy! You’ll be given a souvenir glass at your first winery.

This event is for persons 21 years or over. You will be asked for ID. According to Michigan liquor law, we are not allowed to serve anyone who is intoxicated.

Burgdorf’s Winery

Burgdorf’s will be serving Mediterranean spiced shredded chicken with a pita bread wedge, garnished with a cucumber yogurt sauce prepared by Executive Chef Kevin Kuepper. For the wine tasting, Burgdorf’s will be offering Un-Oaked Chardonnay or Semi-Sweet Spartan White.

Chateau Aeronautiqe will be serving Salmon Canapés, paired with their Sur Lie Chardonnay and Naked Chardonnay.

Cherry Creek Cellars

Cherry Creek will be pairing their Woodstock #2 estate blend (offering a semi sweet option as well) with carnitas street tacos.

Pentamere will be serving beef brisket sliders with rosé BBQ sauce prepared by Chef Michael Clayton. For the wine tasting, Pentamere will be offering Idle Hour Rosé.
